Hurricane Innovation is developing a breakthrough wave-energy system that delivers stable, affordable, and scalable offshore power. Our patented design solves the survivability challenge that has limited wave energy for decades and achieves over 4× higher energy per ton of steel than current concepts unlocking commercial-scale ocean renewables. Built on proven offshore steel-jacket structures, the system integrates storm-mitigation measures directly into the energy-harvesting process to ensure survivability even in the harshest conditions. Designed for water depths of 40–110 meters, each unit is robust, scalable, and projected to produce 135 GWh per year at a target cost of energy significantly lower than offshore windoffering a compelling renewable solution for global markets.
